VEWA demands loans for craftsmen
The Vishwakarma Employees Welfare Association (VEWA) demanded that the bank loans should be given to the craftsmen of the community. VEWA also appealed the government to form DWCRA groups with the craftsmen in order to curtail the suicides of poor Vishwa Brahmins.

General body meeting of the district wing of VEWA was conducted here on Tuesday. Kokkonda Radhakrishna Rao presided over the meeting while DTO Nagula Satyanarayana, TSMDC Project officer Vangala Vidyasagar, advisor of Viswa Brahmana Associations Sirikonda Srinivasachary, VEWA general secretary Thumula Nagachary, honorary advisor of VEWA Maroju Somaiah, the district secretary Siddoju Veerabrahmachary and media secretary Mothukuri Narsimha Rao and others were present.
