Canadian team calls on IT Minister
A team of officials from the Canadian High Commission met IT Minister K T Rama Rao for exploring investment opportunities in Telangana.
Hyderabad: A team of officials from the Canadian High Commission met IT Minister K T Rama Rao for exploring investment opportunities in Telangana.
The Canadian High Commission officials comprising Canada Second Secretary Andria Davidson, and senior economist Tejdeep Kaur met the Minister here on Tuesday.
They said the team had come here to know about Telangana’s economy and investment opportunities in business in the State. The Minister informed them about the opportunities in Telangana and the government priorities.
Rama Rao said Telangana would become a good destination for investments. He said the State was on top among other States with a stable leadership and strong government.
He informed that the government was spending about Rs 1 lakh crore on power generation and irrigation projects in the State. Apart from these, government was spending more money on Mission Bhageeratha, he added.
