Telangana Assembly premises get Ambali centre

An Ambali (porridge) center was set up on the Assembly premises by the Adilabad district’s Kagaznagar MLA Koneru Konappa on Saturday as consuming it in breakfast during summer is very common in the Telangana State. Ministers from this district namely Indrakaran Reddy and Jogu Ramanna inaugurated the center and offered it to legislators.

After relishing the porridge, ministers said consumption of Ambali during summer is good for health. Konappa said he would set up Ambali centers at the NIMS and Gandhi Hospitals soon for the benefit of patients. Some philanthropists also set up ‘Ambali’ centers in summer months for the sake of poor people.
