Revanth Reddy: TTDP to announce on Palair by-poll decision on Sunday
With all the political parties eyeing the Assembly seat of Palair in Khammam district, the Congress is focusing on retaining the seat which is lying vacant due to the demise of its legislator Ram Reddy Venkat Reddy.
With all the political parties eyeing the Assembly seat of Palair in Khammam district, the Congress is focusing on retaining the seat which is lying vacant due to the demise of its legislator Ram Reddy Venkat Reddy. While TRS has come up with a challenge by bringing R&B Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao to the fore, the Telangana TDP too has joined the fray now.
The Telangana TDP leaders including Telangana TDP President L Ramana, TDP MLAs Revanth Reddy and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah and Nama Nageswara Rao on Saturday held discussions with TDP national president Chandrababu Naidu in Vijayawada over the Palair by-elections. However, the TTDP is in a dilemma whether to field its candidate or extend support to Congress.
Post the meeting, the Revanth Reddy addressed the media and revealed that Chandrababu has given freedom to the TTDP leaders to decide whether to contest in the Palair by-poll or support Congress. The TDP MLA further revealed that the decision on Palair by-poll would be announced on Sunday.
