The case will be heard on Thursday while the Telangana state's principal secretary, municipal administration and urban development, HMWSSB managing director, GHMC commissioner and the city police commissioner have been made as respondents by the Court.

The vacation bench, comprising justices A Rajasheker Reddy and A Shankar Narayana will hear the case on Thursday. The court has made Telangana state's principal secretary, municipal administration and urban development, GHMC commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Supply and Sewerage Board managing director, city police commissioner as respondents.

The two labourers, Veeraswamy and S Kotaiah who were hired to clean up the manhole in the Sultan Bazar area on Sunday died of suffocation after inhaling poisonous gases. The locals complained that the 108 emergency and the police didn't make any efforts to retrieve the bodies from the manhole.

The two labourers were engaged by some unknown persons for their work as Sunday was an official holiday for regular sanitation staff of HMWSSB.
