Telangana TDP leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu on Monday demanded the TRS government to declare Yadadri (Yadagirigutta) as a new district with Yadadri as its headquarters. Speaking to the media, the TDP Leader said that he has unofficial information that the state government is planning to include Yadadri in the Siddipet district and Alair in Jangaon Assembly constituency.
Stating that the motive was genuine public demand and not a political one, Motkupally said that the local people were protesting for the creation of Yadadri as a district for years. The TRS government, on the other hand, is planning to 14 to 17 new districts.
