With the ruling TRS party's Operation Akarsh, Telangana TDP has faced the brunt with several key leaders choosing to quit the party. Now, the party is left with only three MLAs.

Latest reports doing the rounds suggested that Telangana TDP President L Ramana was also making the switch to the TRS party. It was reported by a news daily that L Ramana was in touch with TRS leaders and may join the party soon.

However, putting a rest to the speculation, Ramana completely dismissed the reports suggesting that it was the conspiracy of ruling party and clarified that he has no intentions to quit the TDP party. Lashing out at TRS for unleashing a false campaign against him, the TDP MLA alleged that the ruling party is trying to wipe out opposition but made it clear that he would work with TDP to strengthen the party in Telangana and remain with the TDP till his last breath.

He also condemned the reports of TDP MLA Sandra Venkata Veeraiah joining TRS. Castigating the TRS government for failing to handle the drought conditions in the state, Ramana said that TDP's main agenda is to fight with the state government without any compromise further stating that no one can demoralize the party workers by publishing baseless reports.
