​Hyderabad: In a major reshuffle, the Telangana government promoted and transferred several IPS officers in the State on Wednesday.

Dr Akun Sabharwal, Director, Drugs Control Administration is transferred and posted as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP), Hyderabad Range; P Pramod Kumar, DIGP, Intelligence, Hyderabad is transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Special Branch, Hyderabad; Rajesh Kumar, Superintendent of Police is promoted to the rank of DIGP and posted in the CI Cell, Intelligence, Hyderabad; and N Shiva Shankar Reddy, IPS, SP is now promoted to the rank of DIGP and posted as DIGP, Intelligence.

Sandeep Shandilya, IGP (Personnel) is transferred and posted as ACP, Law & Order; VV Srinivas Rao, IGP, TSSP, HAC of IGP Sports is transferred and posted as IGP Personnel; RB Naik, DIGP is promoted as IGP and posted as ACP (Administration); and M Shiva Prasad, DIGP, is promoted as IGP and posted as ACP (City Armed Police).

Greyhounds in the existing vacancy; B Sumathi, IPS, SP, Medak district is transferred and posted as DCP (North Zone), Hyderabad; B Naveen Kumar, OSD (Crimes), who is promoted to Senior Time Scale is transferred and posted as SP, Rangareddy district; Sunpreet Singh,
