Amit Shah hints towards alliance with TRS
BJP national president Amit Shah hinted towards an alliance with TRS. Speaking at a party workers\' meet at Shamshabad in Hyderabad, Amit Shah said that BJP is not averse to an alliance with TRS if it approaches for a tie-up.

Stating that he has not received any application from TRS so far in this regard, Shah, however, expressed confidence of BJP becoming a force to reckon with by 2019 in Telangana state without any tie-up.
While he assured that BJP would continue the alliance with TDP in Andhra Pradesh, the BJP president clarified over the tension between the two parties on the special status category by saying that there are technical and administrative hassles involved in the issue. Nevertheless, he assured that they are trying the best possible and added that NDA government is committed to extending all support to AP.
Responding to drought-ridden AP and TS getting ignored by the government, Shah informed that the Centre is taking all the necessary steps to help the drought affected states and said that funds also have been released regarding the same.
