Senior Congress leader and Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukender Reddy is learnt to be heading towards the Telangana Rashtra Samiti party.
Senior Congress leader and Nalgonda MP Gutta Sukender Reddy is learnt to be heading towards the Telangana Rashtra Samiti party.
The ongoing reports state that Sukender Reddy has informed Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao regarding his plans to join the party after resigning from his Lok Sabha membership.
The reason behind the resignation is said to be due to the possibility of being disqualified once he switches to TRS party. Sources inform that Irrigation Minister Harish Rao had taken the initiative of bringing Sukender Reddy into the party and he might be given a Cabinet rank or be sent to Rajya Sabha. Post Sukender Reddy's entry into TRS, Palla Rajeswar Reddy might be the one to contest from Nalgonda parliamentary constituency in the by-poll.
