In the wake of Congress leader Gutta Sukhender Reddy defecting to the ruling TRS party, Congress veteran K Jana Reddy came down heavily on the party defectors and questioned them whether their struggle for Telangana is over.
In the wake of Congress leader Gutta Sukhender Reddy defecting to the ruling TRS party, Congress veteran K Jana Reddy came down heavily on the party defectors and questioned them whether their struggle for Telangana is over.
Addressing the media in Hyderabad on Tuesday, Jana Reddy said that the ruling TRS was undermining democratic values and pointed out the TRS leaders' ungratefulness towards Congress party president Sonia Gandhi who had given separate State to Telangana.
He further questioned as to how the Bangaru Telangana would be achieved when they are encouraging defections from other parties and added that the leaders who are defecting should show their integrity by resigning from their posts and contesting the elections again.
The Congress leader urged for the amendment of the anti-defection law as the defections were taking place without any hindrance.
