Awareness drive on seasonal diseases

In a press meet at his office here on Wednesday, DMHO Banuprasad Nayak advised the people to maintain personal hygiene and surroundings clean to avoid epidemic diseases.
Nalgonda: The District Medical and Health Department will be conducting a weeklong programme from June 17 to 23 to provide awareness among the public on seasonal diseases in view of the coming monsoon season.
In a press meet at his office here on Wednesday, DMHO Banuprasad Nayak advised the people to maintain personal hygiene and surroundings clean to avoid epidemic diseases.
He also suggested the public to avoid water reserves in and around their houses, which may become breeding areas for mosquitoes that spread Malaria.
DEMO Tirupataiah, Omprakash, Nagendar and others were present in the press meet.
