Man protests over ZPTC member switching loyalty
According to locals, Lavuri Mangthya, a labourer working under a contractor at Tail Pond, on Wednesday climbed a cell tower in Damaracherla protesting against ZPTC Shanker Nayak’s decision to join the ruling party.
Nalgonda: In a strange incident, a youth of Vachya Thanda of Damaracherla mandal climbed a cell tower expressing angry over the Congress ZPTC member shifting loyalty to TRS.
According to locals, Lavuri Mangthya, a labourer working under a contractor at Tail Pond, on Wednesday climbed a cell tower in Damaracherla protesting against ZPTC Shanker Nayak’s decision to join the ruling party.
Stating that Shanker Naik won the ZPTC seat on Congress ticket, Mangthya questioned how a politician could take decision on his own without consulting the public, who voted him to become the public representative.
After getting information, the police rushed to the spot and after negotiations, Mangthya came down from the tower.
Police arrested him and took into custody. Damaracherla SI Veera Raghavulu filed a case under attempt to suicide and investigating the case.
