A 17-year-old daughter of a Naval officer from Visakhapatnam, Kairavi Sharma who went missing in Hyderabad after she landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday is learnt to have sent a text to her father, before leaving from the Airport saying that she would return home only after finding a job as she was keen on becoming independent.

Kairavi Sharma was reported missing from Hyderabad airport on Wednesday and was later found at a beach by the Goa police. Now, Kairavi is home safe. The Goa Police informed that they are not sure as to why she travelled to Goa but will question her for further investigation.

The girl was booked on a flight to Pune from Visakhapatnam on Wednesday with a connecting flight from Hyderabad but did not take the boarding pass for her next flight. CCTV cameras showed that Kairavi had come out of the airport and boarded a Pushpak bus that carries passengers to and from the airport.

Officials suspected that she had taken a train to Goa from Hyderabad that same evening.
