Heavy rainfall expected in AP, Telangana
As per the predictions of the Indian Meteorological Department (MET) on Monday, heavy rains are expected to lash out in both the Telugu states - Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Rains lashed in Chittoor, Srikakulam, Guntur and Visakhapatnam in the past two days while Hyderabad witnessed some drizzle. Even Monday, the moderate rains continued in some parts of the city - Khairatabad, Kavadiguda and Himayath Nagar.
The Hyderabad MET Department stated that the depression formed over North Rajasthan to mid-west Bay of Bengal is moving over Telangana, Coastal Andhra, and west Madhya Pradesh while the Southwest monsoon has further advanced into Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema.
The MET officials advised the fishermen not to venture into the sea as the conditions will be very rough during the next 48 hours as predictions also suggested a thunderstorm accompanied with squalls at isolated places in Telangana.
