Kodandaram: Action plan necessary for RTC to earn profits

Telangana JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram on Wednesday participated in a session on RTC losses and strike call along with seven RTC unions at Sundarayya Vignana Kendra in Hyderabad wherein he stated that the TSRTC proposals revival should come from the government.
Telangana JAC chairman Prof Kodandaram on Wednesday participated in a session on RTC losses and strike call along with seven RTC unions at Sundarayya Vignana Kendra in Hyderabad wherein he stated that the TSRTC proposals revival should come from the government.
Asserting that an action plan was necessary to make RTC earn profits, Prof Kodandaram said that the division of RTC must be according to the law and that the RTC must clearly list the taxes it was paying to the government adding that corporatisation was required.
Stating that RTC revival is government business, he further said that the employees should question the government on the regulation of the private travels buses.
