Birkoor (Nizamabad): Kotagiri TB cluster supervisor Naresh urged the people to be alert and careful about the dreaded disease tuberculosis which affects the lungs.
Addressing a medical awareness camp on the TB disease at the primary health centre in the mandal headquarters on Wednesday, he said that people should go for a medical checkup if the cough persists for more than a week. He said that diagnostic centres would be established at the government hospitals in Kotagiri, Banswada and Varmi to diagnose TB.
