Ahead of the Deeksha, Revanth Reddy made some inappropriate comments against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. TRS Leader Manne Govardhan Reddy has filed a complaint against the TDP MLA in Jubilee Hills Police Station following which a case was registered under sections 504,290, 188 and 21/76 under Indian Penal Code for making inappropriate comments.

Revanth Reddy had stated to the media that his Deeksha was to seek justice to hundreds of farmers in Toguta and Kondapaka mandals who had been displaced for the construction of the Mallannasagar reservoir.
