​Warangal: Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu asked the police personnel to act in transparent manner during physical tests for recruitment of sub-inspectors, to be held from June 27 to July 1 at JN Stadium in Hanamkonda.

He chaired a meeting with the officials to review the arrangements made for the tests. A total of 5,129 candidates would be appearing for physical tests. Of them, 3,933 were men and 1,129 women candidates.

They have to participate in events like 100 and 800 metres run, long jump, high jump and shot put. Every day a total of 1,200 candidates would take in the physical tests which start at 5 am. The officials and personnel monitoring the fitness tests should follow the norms prescribed by Police Recruit Board.

On the day, rural SP AK Jha has visited sports grounds at Kakatiya University, where the physical tests under rural police limits would be held. He interacted with the officials and reviewed the arrangements.

The candidates appearing for the tests should come along with the printout of their online application pasting a photograph attested by gazetted officer. The candidates should carry preliminary test hall ticket and result sheet, Aadhaar card, original and photo copies of their educational and related certificates, the police officials said.

The rural SP urged the candidates not to approach any middlemen as the entire test would be conducted in transparent manner. The entire process of physical tests would be recorded and monitored through CCTV cameras.
