Telangana lawyers boycott court proceedings across the state
Telangana lawyers from all the courts across the state staged a boycott on Friday\'s court proceedings and took out rallies demanding the immediate bifurcation of the High Court along with cancelling the options given to Andhra judges to stay back in Telangana.
Telangana lawyers from all the courts across the state staged a boycott on Friday's court proceedings and took out rallies demanding the immediate bifurcation of the High Court along with cancelling the options given to Andhra judges to stay back in Telangana.
The lawyers were joined by the state judicial officials in the processions that took place all over the state. They staged a dharna at the dharna chowk near Indira Park where even the political parties extended their support to the lawyers' agitation.
The lawyers even demanded the reinstatement of judges who were suspended last week for participating in the agitation. The Joint Action Committee (JAC) leaders even warned that the protests would only intensify if the process of bifurcation of High Court was not initiated by the Centre immediately.
