Tight security at Old City for last Friday of Ramzan
On the occasion of last Friday of Ramzan, security has been tightened in old city of Hyderabad apart from the Bhagyalakshmi temple in the area where a huge crowd is expected.
On the occasion of last Friday of Ramzan, security has been tightened in old city of Hyderabad apart from the Bhagyalakshmi temple in the area where a huge crowd is expected. Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Satyakumar, who is supervising the operations revealed that more than 200 police personnel were deployed at the Old City that included Rapid Action Forces (RAF) team to look into the security issues.
The DCP further made an appeal to the people not to believe the rumours that have been doing the rounds on social media sites on terrorist activities.
Meanwhile, Shamshabad airport has been on high alert from the past few days, following the five IS sympathisers. Teams have been formed to conduct special checks at the airport and passengers are taking the drill of security check way before they reach the checkpoint. Also, the visitors passes have been cancelled and police forces are busy scanning through the entire airport.
