Thummala urges Opposition to support welfare schemes in Telangana

Roads & Buildings Minister Thummala Nageshwar Rao responded to the Opposition parties criticism on the irrigation projects and stated that they are misleading the people.

Speaking to the media in Hyderabad on Saturday, the Minister said that the Opposition parties are creating hurdles to the development in the state and urged them to stop cheating the people for their political mileage instead support the welfare schemes in Telangana.

Tummala Nageshwar Rao further asserted that the government is committed to designing the changes of the projects in order to increase preservation capacity. The Minister stated that the Bhakta Ramadasu project would be launched this year to provide irrigation waters to drought-hit areas.
