MIM public meeting to condemn Saudi blasts
Condemning the terrorist attack near the Prophet’s mosque in Medina in Saudi Arabia on Monday, the MIM would be holding a protest public meeting at its party headquarters in Darussalam on July 8.
Hyderabad: Condemning the terrorist attack near the Prophet’s mosque in Medina in Saudi Arabia on Monday, the MIM would be holding a protest public meeting at its party headquarters in Darussalam on July 8.
Scholars representing different schools of thought are likely to speak on the occasion. A resolution would also be passed at the end of the meeting, scheduled to start after the ‘Maghrib’ prayers (7 pm). Party president Asaduddin Owaisi would preside over the public meeting.
It may be recalled that four securitymen were killed and another five of them were injured at Masjid-e-Nabawi on Monday, in their attempt to thwart a suicide bomber from entering the premises of the Holy mosque.
This was the first attack by any suicide bomber at the place, where thousands of holy pilgrims would be performing rites as part of their pilgrimage, at any given time.
