Responding to Congress senior leader Digivijaya Singh\'s statements that the TRS government was a family rule, Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Saturday pointed back at the Congress dynastic rule.Â
Responding to Congress senior leader Digivijaya Singh's statements that the TRS government was a family rule, Telangana Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao on Saturday pointed back at the Congress dynastic rule.
Harish Rao said that the TRS struggled for 14 years for Telangana and won the elections unlike Congress dynastic nominations as TRS leaders were elected by the people.
Speaking on the defections, the Irrigation Minister said that from Indira Gandhi to PV Narasimha Rao and after, Congress had a history of encouraging defections. He also pointed out the elected TRS MLAs in 2014 were admitted by the Congress in the presence of Digvijaya Singh himself.
The Minister assured that the TRS government was resolved to complete the irrigation projects in the State despite the conspiracies, the Congress was putting forth to thwart the projects.
