Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday as a part of the Telangana government's Haritha Haram programme, planted saplings at Nizams Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) at Khairatabad in Hyderabad.
The Chief Minister was accompanied by a huge crowd of prominent citizens and officials. The Haritha Haram programme was launched today in Hyderabad as the government plans to plant 25 lakh saplings in a single day in over four thousand places in the city.
