The two ISIS suspects- Mohammed Ilyas Yazdani and Mohammed Ibrahim Yazdani, who were arrested on June 29 have been detained further for eight more days after the National Investigation Agency officials had filed a petition seeking extension of the custody of Yazdani brothers for further investigation.

The other three suspects have been sent to judicial custody till July 26. The NIA has recovered about 40 mobile phones, 32 SIM cards, several digital gadgets including six laptops, an air gun with a telescopic sight, target boards, two semi-automatic pistols and ammunition from the suspects.

All the five suspects were taken into custody by the NIA on July 1 and were produced in court on Tuesday. NIA sought for further questioning of the two Yazdani brothers in the petition to retrieve information about the procurement of weapons. The Judge granted an extension of custody on the condition that third-degree methods will not be used for questioning.
