CPI demand KCR to implement double bedroom scheme

CPI Telangana State Secretary Chada Venkat Reddy, accompanied by CPI state and regional leaders and activists on Thursday visited the Qutubullahpur assembly constituency on foot demanding double bedroom houses in the state.

Speaking on the occasion, Venkat Reddy said that a state-wide protest will be staged by CPI for playing with the homeless in the name of double bedroom scheme. The CPI leader said Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had laid the foundation stone on various government lands for the double bedroom scheme but construction works have not begun even after one and a half years.
