Chairman of Joint Action Committee Prof Kodandaram made an announcement on Thursday that a seminar would be held on the Mallanna Sagar project so as to cater justice to the affected villagers.
Stating that the committee has prepared a study on the issues that would arise in the case of land acquisition for projects, Prof Kodandaram said they would be visiting Mahbubnagar and observe the conditions on July 21 and 22.
Speaking to the media at the Nampalli office after the steering committee meeting, he also said the committee would prepare a report on land acquisition within a fortnight.
