The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is taking tough measures to prevent the malpractice for the upcoming NEET Phase-2 exam scheduled for July 24 after the leakage of question paper of EAMCET-II, conducted for admissions to medical courses.

The national-level exam will take place in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Warangal and Vijayawada with nearly 20,000 candidates from the two Telugu states set to appear for the exam.

The candidates would be allowed to enter between 7.30 AM and 9.30 AM for the exam scheduled at 10 AM.

With the leakage of EAMCET II question papers, the Telangana police chief has ordered a probe into it. Parents and students groups staged a protest along with activists of Students Federation of India (SFI), All India Students’ Federation (AISF) staging a sit-in at JNTU demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe.
