Sri Chaitanya students take out rally with 150m-long national flag

Recalling Venkayya’s valuable services to the nation, the students and staff of the school paid tributes to the portrait of the late Pingali Venkayya in a meeting held at the school. Regional Inspector of Schools Venkataiah , Principal Sheshu Babu, Gopalaswam, Madusudhan Reddy were present on the occasion.
Nalgonda: Students of Sri Chaitanya School took out a huge rally carrying a 150-metre-long national flag in Kodad town on Wednesday. Addressing the students on this occasion, the school AGM Muralikrishna said that the national flag of India was designed by Pingali Venkayya and adopted in its present form during the meeting of Constituent Assembly held on the 22 July 1947.
