Earlier in the day, Transport Minister P Mahender Reddy, MP Malla Reddy, MLCs Sambeepur Raju and Patnam Narender Reddy and MLAs Kale Yadaiah and Vivek greeted KT Rama Rao with flower bouquets.

At Kompally, KT Rama Rao participated in Harita Haram programme along with Mahender Reddy, Malla Reddy, Vivek, Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, Deputy mayor Faisuddeen Baba, thousands of students and activists of civil society organisations and exhorted the party workers to make the Harita Haram a grand success.

On the occasion, the IT Minister cut a huge cake as part of the birthday celebrations organised by the TRS at Kompally. Later, MP Malla Reddy organised a blood-donation camp at a medical college on city outskirts.

He planted saplings along with students at Gajula Ramaram, Chintal, Bahadurpura and Jagadgirigutta.

A free medical camp was held at Vasavi Kalyana Mandapam, and KTR distributed tricycles among the physically challenged at Bahadurpura.

The Minister inaugurated a free water bank at Bowenpally.

TRS leaders, MLAs, MLCs and MPs and rank and file of the party participated in the event with enthusiasm.
