Hyderabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to make a maiden visit to Telangana on August 7 and take part in development works, including laying of foundation stone to the thermal power plant and Fertilizer Corporation of India (FCI) project at Ramagundam in Karimnagar.

The Prime Minister’s Office has finalised the schedule for Telangana tour, which would be his first visit after the State formation. As part of his tour, the Prime Minister would arrive at Begumpet airport at 1 pm by a special IAF flight from New Delhi. He would take a chopper to reach Ramagundam in Karimnagar district by 1.45 pm, where he would lay a foundation stone for the prestigious thermal power plant and FCI project.

He would then proceed towards Jaipur in Adilabad district by 2.25 pm and dedicate the thermal power plant to the nation. He would then proceed to Warangal at 3.10 pm for laying foundation for Kakatiya Textile Park and Kaloji Health University and also unveil the Mission Kakatiya pylon.

The Prime Minister would then reach Gajwel in Medak district at 4.10 pm to lay foundation for the proposed Manoharabad-Kothapali Railway line. Later, he would address a public meeting in Gajwel and leave for New Delhi by 6 pm.
