The DGP was speaking to a gathering of 47 senior police officials after inaugurating the SMART Policing workshop at the Rao Bahadur Venkata Rama Reddy (RBVRR) Telangana State Police Academy on Tuesday.

“The Strict and Sensitive, Modern and Mobile, Alert and Accountable, Reliable and Responsive, Techno Savvy and Trained (SMART), are inter-dependent. It is more important for police to be sensitive and reliable,” the DGP said.
