TRS MP assures KCR govt would do justice to Mallannasagar oustees

TRS MP Bura Narasaiah castigated the Andhra Pradesh government for causing hindrance to the Telangana irrigation projects especially the Mallannasagar reservoir project.

Speaking to the media in New Delhi on Wednesday, the TRS MP said that the Telangana government had not interfered nor criticized AP government's projects and has always extended support in order to maintain good relations between the Telugu states.

Narasaiah further stated that the state government didn't make any issue even though AP had grabbed lands of farmers in the name of Capital construction and questioned the requirement of so much land seized for Amaravati.

Expressing anger on the TDP and Congress leaders for criticizing the irrigation projects, Narasaiah said that they would certainly build dams and provide water to people.

Pointing out that the Mallannasagar project was taken up to provide irrigation waters to five districts, he said the opposition parties were trying to come back to power in Telangana by opposing the project and urged the farmers to not fall for their schemes, further stating that the K Chandrasekhar Rao government would do justice to the oustees of the project.
