Assembly Speaker Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary has on Wednesday presented a cash cheque of Rs 12 lakh to the family members of Punjagutta drunk and drive accident that occurred in the State capital on July 1.
Warangal: Assembly Speaker Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary has on Wednesday presented a cash cheque of Rs 12 lakh to the family members of Punjagutta drunk and drive accident that occurred in the State capital on July 1.
The cash cheque presented by the Speaker was the assistance announced by the State government from the CM’s Relief Fund. The cheque was handed over to P Ramesh, who broke his leg in the accident.
The Speaker along with the local MLA D Vinay Bhasker, district Bar Association leader G Ravi Kumar, TRS students’ wing leader K Vasudeva Reddy and others has visited the residence of the accident victim late P Madhusudhan Chary at Vijaya Ganapathi Nagar in Hanamkonda.
Late Madhusudhana Chary was the grandfather of ten-year-old child Ramya, who succumbed to the injuries she suffered in the road accident.
The Speaker interacted with the family members and consoled them, while promising all possible help to them.
