Warangal: Deputy Chief Minister K Srihari asked the district officials to pinpoint a suitable location for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's proposed visit to Warangal district on August 7.

Along with the GWMC Mayor, N Narender, the Deputy CM chaired a meeting with Joint Collector Prashanth Jeevan Patil, Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu, KNR University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor B Karunkar Reddy and others in Hanamkonda on Thursday.

Speaking to press persons after the meeting, he said the PM and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would be taking part in laying foundation stones for Textile Park, Health University and Tribal University along with unveiling of Mission Kakatiya pylon.

It was planned to hold all four events at one place due to security reasons and to ensure a hassle free visit for the PM. KU Arts and Science College and Kakatiya Medical College were being considered for organising the event.

A decision would be taken after receiving complete information from the PMO on the PM’s schedule.

The Deputy CM informed that the Textile Park was proposed to be constructed at Mupparam and Devunur villages in Dharmasagar mandal.

Kaloji Health University would come up on the premises of Warangal central jail, which would be shifted to the outskirts of the city.
