New app launched to help pilgrims of Pushkaralu.

​Nalgonda: District police, with the help of Zest wings organisation, designed a mobile app in the name of Nalgonda Krishna Pushkaralu-2016, for the convenience of pilgrims.

This app provides information about 28 bathing ghats in the district, parking places, ATMs, hospitals, petrol bunks, police stations, hotels, tourist places etc.

The app also includes Do’s and Don’ts at bathing ghats, phone numbers of ghat in-charge officials’ and information about missing and traced persons.

The Notification Alert feature of the app provides information about traffic jams, rush at ghats and other information needed by devotees.

District SP Prakash Reddy informed that the mobile application was launched by Ministers Indrakaran Reddy and Jagadish Reddy and was designed to assist the devotees to reach their selected ghats.

Weather conditions at particular ghat could be obtained through this app, he added, informing that information of holding points and status of the available space at those points could also be accessed through the app.

He further informed that pilgrims could know the information of important tourist places in the district with the help of the app.

Furnishing the technical details of the mobile application, Prakash Reddy said, at present, Android-based “Nalgonda Krishna Pushkaralu – 2016” app was readily available and people could download it from Play Store by typing the title of the app.

After acceptance of application, it should be installed on the mobile phone. He added that in a couple of days ios platform app and website in the name of www.nalgondakrishnapushkaralu2016.com will be released for the convenience of devotees.
