​Nalgonda: Stating that they were planning to approach Krishna River Management Board for the release of 25 tmcft of water from Karnataka State for Krishna Pushkaralu, Endowments Minister A Indrakaran Reddy and MP Gutha Sukender Reddy informed that Krishna Pushkaralu would be conducted on a grand note akin to Godavari Pushkaralu.
On Tuesday, the duo inspected the pushkar ghats in Nagarjunasagar and expressed their pleasure on the quality of works.
Later speaking to media, Indrakaran Reddy informed that on the directions of government, the district administration was making elaborate arrangements for the convenience of devotees.
The Endowments Minister further added that government was closely monitoring the inflows to river Krishna from upstream. MLC Palla Rajeshwar Rao and ZP Vice-Chairman Karnati Linga Reddy also took part.
