Hyderabad: The Nampally Third Metropolitan Magistrate Court on Saturday rejected the bail plea of K Shravil, accused in the road accident case at Banjara Hills that claimed lives of three persons including a nine-year-old girl, Ramya, from Hyderabad.

Shravil, who is currently lodged at Chanchalguda Jail, moved the court for bail on Saturday. However, his plea was turned down. This is the second time that the court has rejected the bail plea of the accused.

On July 1, Shravil (20), a third year engineering student, along with five of his friends, drove a car under the influence of alcohol.

Their speeding car hit a divider, flew into the air before landing onto another car coming in opposite direction. In the gruesome incident, P Rajesh (34), a techie, died on the spot, while his niece P Ramya (9) and his father P Madhusudhana Chary died while undergoing treatment.
