Addressing a press conference here along with BJLP leader G Kishan Reddy, MLA N V S S Prabhakar, MLC N Ramchander Rao and others Laxman said that his party had bright future in Telangana. He said that the party had got the strength of thousand elephants with the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party would continue the same spirit and move towards coming to power in Telangana in 2019.

Laxman said that in the first visit itself, prime minister laid the foundation stone for projects worth Rs 17,000 crore for Telangana. “There is no BJP government in the state and still development works worth thousands of crores were initiated, which shows that the Centre was following the spirit of federal system. People of Telangana should acknowledge the works being done by Centre,” said Laxman.

“The meetings in Hyderabad have always created history and the same intensity was seen during Sunday’s meeting,” said Laxman. The BJP chief called up on party workers to participate in the Tiranga Yatra as instructed by the prime minister in a big way. He said that party workers would take up Tiranga Yatra from August 15 and continue till September 17. The party would celebrate Liberation Day in every locality across the state. He thanked the state government for making elaborate arrangements to make the visit of Prime Minister a grand success.
