Hyderabad: The Telugu Desam Party has faulted Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for his vague approach in requesting the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who visited to the state on Sunday, for a national project status to any irrigation project in the State.
In a release on Monday official spokesman of the party, Ravula Chandrashekara Reddy felt that the Chief Minister should have asked the Prime Minister to sanction an integral coach factory at Kazipet as mentioned in the TRS manifesto.
He accused the government of dithering on Pranahita-Chevella Lift Irrigation project in submitting a detailed project report. Similarly, the proposed steel factory at Bayyaram promised 27 months ago remained a non-starter.
The proposed IT Investment Region, which the CM boasted of providing jobs to over 25 lakh unemployed, first phase should be executed by 2018. Did the government procure land for the same? Ravula enquired.
He alleged that the conduct of the Chief Minister was very disappointing during the PM’s visit to the state. He sought a white paper on the ITIR status. It was high time the Chief Minister clearly articulated on national project status for which project, he declared.
He said the TDP is requesting the Prime Minister to advise KCR to respect the laws passed by parliament, respect the parliamentary system of democracy and ask him not to speak in such a way belittling the judiciary.
