Telangana new districts to be carved out on Dasara

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao held a review meeting with senior officials on Tuesday and sought the release of a draft notification for creation of new districts in Telangana before the third week of this month.
Also, KCR has been finalized the date for the districts to come into existence - October 11th on the eve of Dasara. The Chief Minister has also appointed a cabinet sub-committee headed by Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali to report the suggestions in regard to the creation of new districts.
He has reportedly made it clear that officials looking into the creation of new districts need not take any political pressure so as to focus on the concerns of people.
