The Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Akademi (BDSA) has invited applications for presentation of its annual national-level awards in various fields.

​Warangal: The Bharatiya Dalit Sahitya Akademi (BDSA) has invited applications for presentation of its annual national-level awards in various fields.

The BDSA, founded by former Deputy Prime Minister Babu Jagjivanram, presents awards to singers, poets, writers, employees, NGOs, social activists and others in recognition of their services to the society.

The awards presented are as follows - Lord Buddha National Fellowship Award, Dr BR Ambedkar National Fellowship Award, Mahatma Phule National Fellowship Award and Savithri Bai National Fellowship Award.

The selected candidates will have to pay Rs 1,500 in the form of demand draft towards food and accommodation during the award ceremony at New Delhi.

Interested persons can apply for the award with complete bio-data and details of their work and submit the same to the BDSA district president.
