Over 6,000 cops for Krishna Pushkaralu
About 180 CCTV cameras were arranged at all the Pushkar ghats, temples, holding and parking areas with an expenditure of Rs 50 lakhs.One mobile patrolling team was arranged on 24X7 basis for every 20 km. One SI is deputed for every 20 kms and one CI is deputed for every 40 kms for patrolling duties.
Nalgonda: In view of the Krishna Pushkaralu in Nalgonda district from August 12 to 23, the district police are moving forward with certain plans to make the Pushkaralu a big success.
For the safety and security of the pilgrims, bandobusth arrangements with 6,754 police officers and men were made at the 28 ghats in the district. Also 2,838 volunteers will perform duties at ghats, temples and parking places.

One towing vehicle, one crane and one mechanical team is arranged for every cluster for clearance of traffic during traffic jams. 33 parking points and 22 holding points were arranged for the control of vehicles.
Enumeration of the vehicles coming to the district for pushkaralu would be done at the nine traffic reading points at Ramannapet, Panthangi, Chillakallu (AP State), Mothey, Mall and Wadapally Bridge and at Eshwaramma Parking place (Nagarjuna Sagar), Bothalapalem (Wadapally) and Mathampally parking place.
A Mobile pushkara app. with the title as “Nalgnda Krishna Pushkaralu 2016” has been arranged which can be downloaded in any smart phone and it has features of “Android & iOS version”.
Police control rooms, police help centers and watch towers are being provided at Pushkar ghats. In case of missing of somebody, announcement would be made from these control rooms. Professional swimmers, boats and aska Lights were kept available at the ghats.
Arrangements were made to ensure plying of autorickshaws from parking places to ghats by holding meeting with auto drivers and ID cards have also been issued to auto drivers. With the co-ordination of RTC officials of other districts, RTC buses are being halted at parking places earmarked only.
Barricades are being arranged at ghats, temples, parking and holding points for the convenience of the pilgrims. In case of emergency, public can contact the control room at mobile no. 9490619446 for any kind of help.
Control rooms, help centres, medical aid Centres and the services of 108, 1033 ambulances are being availed to meet any emergency. Signage boards are also being arranged specifically at parking and holding areas to facilitate the pilgrims about the road ways.
