Godavarikhani (Karimnagar): Tamil Nadu Governor Konijeti Rosaiah heaped praise on Haritha Haram, a flagship programme of the Telangana government. The former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, who is on a private visit to Fertiliser City here on Thursday, expressed confidence that the massive plantation drive initiated by the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would be a huge success. He called upon people to be part of the programme being carried on a mission mode by the State government.
Later, Rosaiah unveiled the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Abdul Kalam in a programme here. Finance Minister E Rajender, TSRTC chairman Somarapu Satyanarayana, local MLA Ganesh Gupta and Ramagundam Mayor K Laxminarayana were among the others present.
