Action against complex builders demanded.
The members of Waddepally Development Committee demanded the district administration to initiate action against the builders, who developed a residential complex Brindavan Apartments, for allegedly violating rules.

A large number of residents of Waddepally and the committee members have staged a massive dharna in front of the district collectorate in support of their demand and shouted slogans against the builders.
Drainage water coming out of the complex, which consists of 270 apartments, was flowing onto the streets causing severe inconvenience to the residents, they complained.
The committee convener B Jithender, leaders A Bikshapathi, K Sravan Kumar, Dr N Harikishan and others have complained that the complex has violated several norms related to building construction.
Following the complaints by the locals, GWMC Municipal Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmad has inspected the complex some time back and assured to take action against the builders. But no action was taken so far, they told the press persons.
Due to lack of parking place, the visitors to the complex were forced to park their vehicles on the road, occupying most of the space on the road, which was already narrow and it was leading to accidents frequently, Jithender complained.
The residential complex builders instead of addressing the issues were trying to create an atmosphere of conflict between the apartments’ dwellers and those living outside. Hence immediate action should be taken against the builders, he demanded.
