Ramagundam (Karimnagar): The NTPC-Ramagundam, under its CSR-SD programme, has provided financial aid of Rs 57 lakhs for procurement of two lakh mango grafts and three lakh eucalyptus clones.
The NTPC has so far planted over 13.5 lakh plants in and around the Plant premises.
ED-Ramagundam Prasant Kumar Mohapatra handed over the cheque to K Mahender Raju, Divisional Forest Officer, Karimanagar.
NTPC is also providing 5,000 tree guards with Rs 27 lakhs for ‘Telangana Ku Haritha Haram’ programme.
