Nalgonda: The police on Sunday identified five houses of slain gangster Nayeem which are in the name of his benamis in Nalgonda town.

According to sources in the Police department, during the investigation, the district police identified a house in the name of Nayeem’s sister Saleema Begum at Rahamath Nagar, a house in the name of his mother Taheera Begum at Chaithanyapuri Colony, houses in the name of his sister-in-law Neha and her daughter Salomi at Srinagar Colony in Nalgonda town and a house in the name Mahella, daughter of Aleemuddin, brother of Nayeem, at Parvathagiri village in Kanagal mandal.

The house of Mahella, constructed in 242 yards at Parvathagiri, has well-built compound wall. It is believed that the dreaded gangster might have used it to elude the police arrest as it is located in an isolated place.

They also found that Nayeem had also sponsored Rs 25 lakh for setting up of Ganesh pandal in the name of Aleemuddin at Prakasham Bazaar in Nalgonda town last year.

It is learnt that 15 days before the last Ganesh festival, mother and sister of Nayeem arrived at Hasmatha Begum's (cousin of
Nayeem) house at Chaithanyapuri Colony and explained the plan about setting up of pandal.
