SIT conducts raids on Nayeem aide’s house
The Cyberabad police on Thursday conducted searches in the houses of slain gangster Nayeem’s driver Fayaz and seized some documents related to land and bikes. The police have also taken two-day custody of Nayeem’s brother Faheem and his wife Sajida.
Hyderabad: The Cyberabad police on Thursday conducted searches in the houses of slain gangster Nayeem’s driver Fayaz and seized some documents related to land and bikes. The police have also taken two-day custody of Nayeem’s brother Faheem and his wife Sajida.
The Narsingi police have taken Faheem and Sajida to police station to question about the offenses they were indulged in along with Nayeem. The couple confessed to have killed their relatives including a minor girl.
Meanwhile, Narahari, a businessman from Bhongir lodged a complaint against Nayeem and his associates alleging extortion. Narahari, an electronics store owner, in his complaint, stated that Nayeem threatened to kill his wife and children if he failed to pay Rs 1 crore.
After begging, Nayeem took Rs 25 lakh, to leave his family, he stated. Based on the complaint, the Bhongir police registered a case.
