Senior Congress leader Errabelli Swarna has strongly condemned reducing security cover to former Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy by the State government.
Warangal: Senior Congress leader Errabelli Swarna has strongly condemned reducing security cover to former Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy by the State government.
She described scaling down Sabitha Indra Reddy’s security cover as a politically motivated act. It was wrong to reduce the number of gunmen from four to two on the pretext of reviewing threat perception by security review committee (SRC), she said.
The decision to downsize the former Home Minister’s security has to be withdrawn immediately, she demanded. Otherwise CM K Chandrashekar Rao would have to face the wrath of the women in the State.
Serious agitations would be staged by Congress party, Swarna warned. She said that Chief Minister insulted women by reducing security cover to the first woman Home Minister.
